I'm a big fan of Clark Howard, in fact, he was the one that led me to TUG about 13 years ago. Only problem is:
"... Howard’s advice on timeshares has been consistent and straight to the point: “Do NOT buy a timeshare EVER.”
I wish he would realize there are those of us that love our (bought resale) timeshares.

i think youd find most financial advisers would give the same advice these days! it would be a long and lengthy process to tell someone "in most cases buying a timeshare is a terrible idea, except....."

at least Clark doesnt shill for advertising dollars for the upfront fee companies like some other very popular advisers do!

Sadly Clark Howard is a dying breed. You would think that there would be newcomers popping up around social media, but telling people to be careful with their money doesn't exactly catch eyes. I wonder if a young Clark could get any traction in today's world of clickbait.
