Has anyone tried depositing their 2019 points into 2020 or 2021? I tried and It shows I have 0 points available for deposit and that is clearly not true.... If anyone else is having this issue, please let me know.

I just went in to start the process and it shows the correct points available and lets me proceed to the next screen after I enter the number to deposit.

How many points do you get per year and how many have you already used for vacations in 2019 or borrowed back into 2018?

All of my 2019 points are eligible for Deposit to 2020 (I did not test 2021). And, all of my points are eligible for transfer to RCI. And, the points calculator for a date in December 2019 is giving me the results exactly as I would have expected. All of my remaining 2019 points are retaining their original benefits. I've made zero ARP reservations for 2019. Let us know if this get resolved as we are finally to the point where we really start learning about the Points Deposit 'Feature' issues.

I don't know if this applies to the OP's situation but try using a different browser. I have been having issues at times with not being able to see my points or use the points calculator. Last night after reading the posts I wanted to see if I could see my 2021 points and I couldn't even see my 2019 balance. I decided to try logging out and going to a different browser. It worked.

Is your use year different from the calendar year?
For example, I have all of my use year points (October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019) available. However, I cannot deposit them to a future year since I am more than 3 months into my use year as a non-VIP.

Do you have different use years??
I’ve always thought Wyndhams end game would be to have everyones use year to start on January 1st
Looks like they might be using the points deposit feature to accomplish their end game on this issue

Has anyone ever had a ticket closed out? Favorably?

I thought that too but i just recently had a contract transfer that had a jan 1st date. They first uploaded points for that, then wiped them out and matched it up with the 1 contract I own which is a July 1 contract. Good thing for me though they gave me full points. They also gave me full reservation transactions even though it just loaded 2 days ago after the first of the year

I actually went in to look into booking in November and my points are so messed up, I can't unravel them. I closed on a resale contract for 231,000 points in October 31, 2017 for 2018. That part was clear, now there is a second transaction on my account showing 231,000 points for use year 2019 deposited on October 31, 2017 as well. And then another for December 24, 2017 for yet another 231,000 for use year 2020. on January 1, 2019, 231,000 for use year 2021! I used 84,000 points in 2018 , moved 147,000 to 2019 and 210,200 + 59,000 points to book vacations in 2019. My account shows that I have a balance of 192,800 points for 2019. Honestly, it makes my head spin. Until two months ago, everything was fine. None of these funky two year in advance deposits we in there. Over the holidays, I didn't look at it all that much since I was planning on booking this month. It just makes me sick to think that I now have to spend hours on the phone with Wyndham when my booking window opens at the end of this week.

I can't speak to your current point totals based on what you've used, but this sounds exactly like the normal point contract awards that occur when Wyndham places your points for each use year into your account. You would normally have gotten your 2019 points around 1/1/2017, so it makes sense that when you purchased your new contract in October of 2017, they placed both your 2018 and 2019 points into your account on 10/31/17. Then the 2020 points awarded on 12/24/2017 - that's exactly the same as my 2020 points award date. Then the 2021 points awarded on 1/1/2019 - again, the same as my account. So this part of what you described is completely normal.

That is reassuring. I guess I just don't know why they never showed up that way before. And I had looked - but obviously I didn't look for the right thing! Now I need to sit and rethink things. I thought I knew what I was doing but now, not so much. The math is still off on credits and debits but understanding the award dates helps exponentially. Thank you.

So when I thought I was working with past points, I was working with future points. The result is the same since I have enough points. It's just a paradigm shift. Awfully glad I stumbled in here. Thank you, all. Particularly paxsarah. Once again, Tuggers illuminating things.

I moved all my remaining 2019 pts into 2021 today. No sweat, no problem.

Most of us will have thru 3/31 to do this.
