Can I transfer my Rci points to Wyndham?

I own week 8 at Vacation Village at Boneventure. This is usually banked into the RCI system. I've heard this could be transferred or converted into the Wyndham points system. I think I could use this system more.
Would this be a smart move? Can it be done? If so, how? If I find I don't use this any better than the RCI system, can I go back, or perhaps sell this much easier?

No, RCI points cannot be converted to Wyndham points.

A fixed/floating (non-points) timeshare that trades thru RCI can deposited with RCI (10-12 months out) and be exchanged for Wyndham points under PIC (Personal Interval Choice) program, but you have to make a developer purchase to enroll a week in the PIC program. So probably not really worth it in this case.

Thank you for your responses. I've looked into booking Wyndham properties through RCI. Doesn't seem to favorable of an exchange. With this PIC option, does it cost a lot to get in the system? It appears the Wyndham system is easier to sell down the road. Or am I mistaken?

When it comes time to sell, you will probably get little or nothing for the timeshare. If bought from Wyndham, the timeshare is very expensive. Last heard up to 200 per thousand points.

Before buying Wyndham either re-sale or from the developer, it probably would be a good idea to rent from a Wyndham Owner to check out a few of the resorts you may be interested in.

The current developer cost to buy from Wyndham is $300/1K points, at least that is what they were priced at NYC a few days ago. Welcome to 2018!
