Still trying to figure this out.

I have 124K CLUB WYNDHAM Plus Points on Deposit with RCI. They expire at the end of September 2018. I am trying to find a use for them.

Can I rent them out? If so, how?

From those who have done it before, are there reservations I can attempt to make that are likely to be rented by others?

Again, these are not RCI points, they are CLUB WYNDHAM Plus Points on Deposit with RCI.

Thanks again for your help!

Technically, RCI reservations are not supposed to be rented.

I believe it's possible to extend those points in RCI for some period of time for a fee, but probably only worth doing if you have a plan for using them in the future.

It may also be possible to transfer those points to another owner, but you'd have to call the RCI-Wyndham desk to find out.

You can rent a week that you book via RCI but you'll need to pay for the $79 guest confirmation.

Not true - guest confirmations are for guests - not renters.

It is a violation of the RCI terms of service to rent exchanges. If you occasionally, quietly rent to friends or family who understand the situation, you will probably will be OK.

If you advertise exchanges for rent on the internet to the general public, and rent to strangers, you are likely to get caught, and the consequences from RCI can be harsh.

Thanks for the feedback! I have never used RCI for an exchange before, so this all helps. Looks like I will use the points for a small getaway for our family before we sell our Wyndham contracts.
