If I buy addiotnal points on the resale market, will my status increase to the next level. or does it have to be developer point purchase. I am currently an executive, Are the benefits worth it? Is there anywhere I can find the benefits at each level and what they do? I could not seem to figure out how to do a search. I am sure a question like this has been asked in the past

If you are Executive level and you purchase resale DPs and also pay the current activation fee of $3 per point, you can advance to the Presidential level.

Others like Steven can confirm. Resale purchased points as long as you pay the "enrollment" fee will count towards you status. I have not read if non enrolled points will count though.

No, neither unenrolled Resale weeks, nor unactivated Resale points (where “junk” fees have not been paid to MVC) count towards your status.
