If you haven’t been to Vegas in the past 4-5 years a lot has changed

Way more restaurants and kid friendly places and shows to see

I'm almost of the opposite opinion, I think it has gotten worse over the past few years. It did show quite a bit of improvement for a bit but has been sliding back. Four years ago I would be able to walk down Fremont Street with our kids - after my few most recent trips even I'm not wanting to go there.

Some areas are still pretty good for families (Valley of Fire, some areas of the LV Strip), but as much as I love Vegas, there are other metro areas which are more suited for families with young kids.
