Have a niece that has something at the Boston convention center in April and I was wondering if there is anything other than the Marriott Pulse that would be easy for her to take public transportation to/from the convention center. Never been to Boston so any help would be appreciated.
Thought there might be a timeshare outside of Boston that might work. Thanks in advance for any help.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
No other timeshare options with easy access to Boston other than Marriott.

Marriott pulse custom house is the only game in town. The next closest are about 45-60 minute drive and no public transportation that would be easy and quick.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when we owned Marriott, we got into the Custom House. It was beautiful and convenient; if you can get it for her, that would be a great location for nearly any conference. The good news with Boston is that there are some reasonably priced hotels as well and the city itself is compact. I have used public transportation in many cities and I think Boston's is not as user-friendly as it could be but, again, it is smallish and just needs to be studied a bit (so you know what route you need in advance).

All that being said, Boston is a great city to visit and I hope your niece can spare a day or two (or three) and see much that it has to offer. There is history, entertainment, food and world class museums. It's a great city!

I would suggest that she stay at one of the many Marriott properties either connected to or right next to the convention center

The convention center is in South Boston, safe enough but a mile or more away from areas of tourist interest.
If her priority is to be near to the convention center, the choices are Westin Boston Waterfront, Aloft Boston Seaport, or Element Boston Seaport, and possibly Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Downtown/Seaport.

A more interesting area maybe 20 minutes from the convention center by Uber would be in Back Bay, in the vicinity of Copley Square and (as a reference point) the Boston Public Library.

Okay, my mind immediately went to the Hynes Convention Center in the Back Bay. Two different places depending on which one.
