Booking a room at Vistana resorts with a discount

Instead of using StarOptions, I seem to recall we are supposed to get some kind of discount for being owners at the Vistana Resorts if we want to stay at one of their resorts ... how do you get that discount?

I was on the Marriott.com site and don't see anything. Nor on Vistana.

If you log into the Dashboard on the Vistana website and scroll down to "Owner Exclusives". Click on that and you will see that there is a 5 digit code for a 25% off Owner Discount. You'll then put that code into the Marriott site when booking.

Just a warning - the discount is not always off of the lowest rates available. It is sometimes cheaper to book a room without the discount.

It also works for Vistana owners staying at all Marriott Vacation Club properties. I used it for my current stay at the Marriott Vacation Club Pulse San Diego. You just plug in the five digit promo code on the Marriott reservation site and it will show you the price.
