I am wanting to use the online premier wait list to reserve a studio at Big Cedar for July 15, 2019 through July 29, 2019.

Are my odds of getting the reservation filled any better if I enter them as two separate one-week requests or should I just enter a single 14-day request?

Does not matter much. The only way the 14 day would decrease your odds is if the second week was a priority week taken. They would look for another in that case. I have not had any trouble with 14 day reservations .

I don’t have bluegreen but I noticed they have weeks in RCI for 6500 RCI points or about $65 or less plus exchange fee of $239. Only issue is they are all Friday - Friday weeks. They have 1bdrs also for $95 or less in points plus exchange fee.

Make three requests. 1) For the first week, 2) For the second week, 3) for the 14-day reservation. If 1 and 3 hits, dump 1 and cancel 2.

I would try 2: 1 week & 1 14days.

I just checked the calendar and july 15 2019 is a Monday, the underlying deeds are probably a Sat or Friday check-in, my experience with wait listing is to try to request the on the units type weeks check-in day even if its a day before the day you want, then modify the reservation after I get it for the days I actually want. This has worked well for me on many waitlist requests, after learning the hard way, not getting my waitlist filled, even though I was probably near first at 15 months because the Friday & Saturday waitlist requests where filled first then my Sunday request came up but all the the units where already gone by then. Al, premier: Platinum owner.

See Breezez comment about RCI weeks Friday weeks check-in availability at Big cedar (this is what I was talking about in my above comments) Friday check-in in my estimation has the highest probability of success for a waitlist request. Good luck AdventureFamily.AL
