Are Hawaii resale deeds more abundant after January?

I'm looking to add a Ocean View unit at Ka'anapali Beach Club to my current week there. I purchased the week I now have here on TUG about 3 years ago. At the time there were an abundance of resales available. Lately, I've noticed there isn't much available inventory. Is that because of the time of year?

I think it is primarily because the economy is better. Fewer people being unable to pay; more people being able to travel.

The conventional wisdom on TUG is that the best time to buy is when maintenance fee bills come out (generally December, but if you want to buy KBC, it would be whenever KBC maintenance fees come due). That has not been my personal experience, but my personal experience is limited.

That very well may be it. The economy is better now. Possibly less people needing to get rid of their timeshares. I'll keep looking. I'm sure I'll eventually find another week for the price I want to pay.
