I had three friends that stayed there in Feb 2016 said this....when I asked "how is it? I never been because I can snag something in Lincoln instead...but I keep it as a last resort"

1. Stick with the Lincoln plan - I had husband bring up inflatable mattresses for the kids because there was no way they were sleeping on that nasty sleep sofa.

2. We had the resort switch our rooms and took something smaller because there was a smell in ours and we were ground level. Every time a person came around the driveway we had blinding lights through the shades.

3. It was ok for the money we spent (it was only $400 something for Presidents week). But, would not be my first choice.

I think it maybe like many New England resorts - cheap on the MF, but that may equate to not updating in 20 years.

I did notice that they are hosting open houses every Friday via the local Chamber. Not sure if that means they have something to show off now....

Yes there is free wi-fi. Stayed there in 10/2016 for leaf peeping with mom. It's OK but for just crashing at night and being out most days. I did remember getting a stiff neck from sleeping on that pull-out sofa but nothing that my chiro can't fix later, thank goodness. We were on the third floor so no noise issues at all. They made me sign something about agreeing to their (whims and) regulations and when I asked for a copy, was later told that they don't give out copies. Essentially sign or hit the road, darn it. We stayed through an RCI exchange using my Wyndham points.

I would think 2x to stay again in the future esp. if given more options in the Lincoln area.

I rented a unit off the LMR forum here for Oct 2017 to enjoy the leaf-peeping. It was "rustic" but clean. Small units - did not visit the on-site bar. Had wireless.

Returned from a week there yesterday. It made my never stay there again list. Just did a review on it.

It sound like the big issue was no AC - it was a warm week!
Curious, what are the other two NH resorts that are on your no-go list?

Village/Lodges at Loon and the Mountain Club on Loon. Deer Park wasn't bad as well as Grand Summit at Attitash Bear Peak, but they are both quartershares and RCI affiliated.

Heat was the big problem at Mittersill, but the resort was a bit strange and somewhat shabby too.
