    $8 billion in timeshare sales/year -- accurate?

    Maintenance fees $300/year to $1,800/year in ten years -- an exaggeration?

    And as geist1223 mentioned, the writer conflates hotel room and 2BR condo.

    Otherwise, a pretty straightforward but unremarkable article, one that could have been written by a few dozen TUG members or pasted together from posts on TUG. Old stuff for TUG denizens, perhaps useful information for others.

    Let's face it, when it comes to timeshares, there's what is said on TUG and a couple other places, then there's what is said everywhere else.
