Am I late to this game?

If you book Marriott hotel rooms via American Airlines E Shopping site, you get an extra (6) AA miles per dollar spent, on top of any Bonvoy points you would normally earn.

Seems like a no brainer to always book your hotel stays through this site.

I checked the room pricing - it's exactly the same.

All you have to do is make sure you enter Marriott's site FROM and AFTER you have logged into the AA E shopping site.

Do you still get elite night credits this way? Could be considered a 3rd party booking of some sort....not sure.
