I am trying to rent my FL timeshare using airbnb. I noticed that AirBNB is charging an occupancy tax for some locations including FL. I have 2 questions.
1. I believe airbnb withholding tax would be double taxation in the case of timeshares. Do you agree?
2. Can I adjust my airbnb setting so that this tax is NOT collected?

I actually don't understand the question. Are you questioning why a person should have to pay both real estate tax on their timeshare and also an occupancy tax through airbnb? If that is the question, I don't know why it would be any different from renting out a home via airbnb. A home owner would have to pay both real estate tax and occupancy tax. I don't see that timeshares would be any different. What am I missing?

I think hotels and timeshares already pay property taxes AND occupancy taxes. So I think AirBNB collecting a tax is paying the same tax twice.
