Why would this goof think in any way that Air Canada (or any airline) should compensate him for trying to fly with an expired passport? Doesn't everybody check the expiry dates on their passports before they plan a trip or am I the exception? I'm pretty sure whenever I've booked a flight my passport number and expiry date need to be entered. I'm glad the courts ruled in the airlines favor.
