I am giving away my Hyatt Residence Club ownership at the Puerto Rico Hacienda Del Mar. It is a 2 bedroom unit, ocean view, upper floor, Week 41 (Oct 10 - 17), 1300 annual HRC points per year (or you can convert to Hyatt Gold Passport points) and annual maintenance fee is $1376.14. This unit was my second Hyatt purchase and I now have too many points and am unable to use them all. The 2020 maintenance fees are paid in full and everything is current. I have a clean title with no liens and can proceed with the sale immediately. Thank You for your interest.

It is, however, when they re-open later this year, it is going to be awesome. This would be a perfect ownership for someone looking to get into the Hyatt system as a points user, as I am.

I just checked. Currently $650, however, I would be willing to cover this cost as well.

I thought it did increase. I know there were some properties that had more than the 5%. We own at Sedona and had 4.8%, I believe.

Interesting post from Dec 7th in the Hyatt forum - the post title is "MF for Hacienda del Mar" . I would suggest you verify the MF yourself as there is a serious discrepancy with what is posted here.
Edward Druy said:
I just received my invoice for the 2020 maintenance fee for Hacienda del Mar. As mentioned in the sticky, there was a 50% increase over 2019, and it is now around $2300 annually. Because of the hurricane, we have not been able to use the resort for the past two years, and since our contract is for April, we will again not be able to use it for 2020. Does anyone know if this 50% increase is a one time hit and it will revert to prior years in the coming years? Knowing that I cannot use the resort until 2021, I feel that the 2020 MF is unfair. How can there be a maintenance fee for a resort that was virtually totally destroyed by the hurricane, and has not had an occupancy permit since that time. Much of the rebuilding was financed by insurance, and I don't understand the hefty increase.
is there an easy way to get out of this property? I didn't pay much for the unit back in 2015 and I would give it away or donate it to charity if I can unburden myself from the maintenance fee.
