We are at the Waiohai using our 2019 EOYO week and are very impressed. We stayed in Princeville last January, and can’t believe the difference between the north and the Koloa/Poipu area. There is so much to do in this area, and the Waiohai is much more than we expected. The location is fantastic and we have yet to run into the traffic we experienced from Lihue north. We have probably been lucky in that regard. This resort seems to have it all, laid back, almost boutique like, but tons of stuff to do. Wish we bought an annual now...

Love the report -- we are staying at Waiohai for our first time next April -- we've visited the property several times and always wanted to say. Thanks for posting this! We are fans of WPORV and looking forward to the comparison. Thanks again!

Best,

Greg

That was our same reaction when we stayed there for the first time this past February. We had always stayed in the Poipu area on Kauai previously, so knew we liked the area, but Waiohai itself was amazing in its own right. My wife still talks about the Mai Tais at the pool bar! That's why we made an offer on an EOY Odd right before we even got home from Hawaii. We're sad that our trip in February 2020 won't include Waiohai, but we have something to look forward to in 2021.

I guess we will have to start looking for another EOYO Waiohai IV. I can’t imagine coming here without bringing our grandkids. They would love it here and I would love watching them learn to surf from a lounge chair (close enough to the Honu Bar so that I could stay refreshed from watching their efforts!!!)

Waiohai literally changed our entire impression of Kauai. Unfortunately all of our Marriott Hawaii weeks are EOYO. But I can’t imagine going over now without a week there.
