This is the first time I have watched the entire World Series, and was rooting for the Nats. What totally impresses me is how commentators come up with stats for so many unique situations. I should have written them down. One sort of was, "This is only the fourth time a batter has hit a homerun from behind in the X inning, and put the team out front. The other three players were...."
How do they find the information so fast? Where is it stored? How would it even be categorized?
And yes, I loved when Howie Kendrick hit that home run at age 36. Looking at so many players, I would think, they are just babies. They could still be on a high school team.
