While we are whining about our ailments tonight, I went in this morning to have a basal cell carcinoma removed from the end of my nose. It started as a zit just never healed. It would get a scab, I'd rub it off, the thing would seep some clear pink fluid, that dried then formed a scab and the cycle would repeat. Doc took a biopsy last month, yep. Positive. So I did it today, and have a triangular piece of embroidery on my nose for all to see for a month or two. I guess that's the price we people of Northern European decent pay for all those sunburns we got as children- and basically living a life outdoors. Sunscreen? What's that?
Doc also shaved off a squamous cell cancer above my eyebrow.
At least I won't have to look too far for a Halloween costume!
