Is there a glossary here for the abbreviations? It would be helpful to make a sticky for one. It would help answer a lot of questions for newbies like myself.

Here's the list that TUGBrian&co last updated about five years ago:

https://tug2.net/timeshare_advice/timeshare_glossary.htm

It contains lots of abbreviations for general jargon; not so much info
on the short names for specific resorts. But I've noticed often in any
given thread people will spell out a resort name the first time it is
mentioned and then start using an abbreviation.

Welcome to TUG!

Good point ... we should probably have a sticky of Wyndham specific terms. Add it my to do list.

Wyndham also has a Glossary on it's website. But you may need to be a member to access it.

Good point, but I was thinking more about the common abbreviations we typically use in our forum discussions. Things like:

CWP = Club Wyndham Plus
CWS = Club Wyndham Select
PR = Presidential Reserve
UDI = Undivided Interest
PIC = Personal Interval Choice
UY = Use Year
CUY = Current Use Year
VIPP = VIP Platinum
VIPG = VIP Gold
GC = Guest Certificate
ARP = Advanced Reservation Priority
RARP = Reciprocal Advanced Reservation Priority
HK = Housekeeping
WM = Worldmark
WMSP = Worldmark South Pacific
RT = Reservation Transaction

https://tug2.net/timeshare_advice/timeshare_glossary.htm

The general principle in using abbreviations is to spell it out on first usage when writing, but obviously that convention rarely applies here in the forum. :D

ps. Feel free to comment with any Wyndham specific abbreviations we have adopted, and I will make this as a sticky.

I started a thread on this topic about a year and a half ago that may be helpful:

Should probably consider adding:

CWA = Club Wyndham Access

@ewinch, there is already a sticky here on this (Wyndham Vacation Resorts) forum for this that you created and locked last month.

The following (some of which are already suggested by others) are missing from it:

CWA = Club Wyndham Access
ERP = Express Reservation Period
MF = Maintenance Fees
ROFR = Right of First Refusal
VIPS = VIP Silver
