Many resorts are hard to identify by the name alone. I have been timesharing frequently the past 7 years, and I spend quite a bit of time on these forums, but I have trouble identifying lots of locations. I wish people would identify the location when it is not clear to others.

Questions: Do you prefer resorts that have the name of the place in the title?
How many of the 30 timeshares below can you identify by city? or by region?
How many have you been to?

Marriott: Desert Springs, Timber Lodge, BeachPlace Towers, Harbour Lake, Willow Ridge

Bluegreen: Cibola Vista, Club 36, Paradise Island, Atlantic Palace, Mountain Loft

Wyndham: Star Island, Ocean Walk, Tamarack, Riverside Suites, King Cotton Villas

Worldmark: Dolphin’s Cove, Surfside Inn

Hilton: Elara, Sunrise Lodge, MarBrisa

Hyatt: Pinon Pointe, Wild Oak Ranch, Main Street Station

Sheraton: Vistana, Harborside, Broadway Plantation

Holiday Inn: Piney Shores, David Walley’s, Orange Lake (Most HI resorts are identified by location)

Shell: Donatello

Note: I excluded independents, and I excluded Hawaii because their names are usually easy to recognize.

We own Worldmark and I don't ever recall Donatello coming up on Facebook or seeing it on a list of resorts. Where the heck is that?

We can identify all the names and locations of the systems that we own and have owned. I don't care about other brands of timeshare and don't care to know their names and locations. No issue here.

Maybe someone else can post the answers for us.

I knew 24 of these.

But Donatello isn't a Worldmark resort - it's in Shell.

I know all of the Bluegreen locations but I can only identify a few of the others posted. I agree that I wish people would also add the location when they post about a resort.

I made the Donatello correction. 24 is extremely impressive! Even though I made the quiz yesterday, I have already forgotten several of them. I wish I had a better memory.

Marriott's Timber Lodge is in So. Lake Tahoe. There is an independent Timber Lodge located in Breckenridge CO.

18 for me. I've stayed at two of them and know the rest mostly from my II searches and from reading TUG.

Been TS for 1.2 years. I know 7, been to 2, and own 2.

Wyndham Star Island - Kissimmee, I own here but never been

Wyndham Ocean Walk - Daytona Beach, I own here but never been

Sheraton Vistana - Orlando. Never been here but thought about trading Into here. I’ve seen many of these units on Sumday and TSN.

Sheraton Harborside - Paradise Island and Bahamas. First TS I ever been too.

Sheraton Broadway Plantation - MB. The Plantation name may be gone now. Sign of the times.

Holiday Inn Orange Lake - Orlando. Never been. I saw many of these Units on Sumday and TSN.

Shell: Donatello - SF. I like the city despite it being dirty.

I got 18. All the Wyndhams, all the Marriott's and a few of the others. Didn't know any of the Bluegreen ones. Shorecrest is the only BG I have ever stayed at.

Personally I like the more unique names, even though it makes it harder to identify them. Especially in shorthand when people just post them by abbreviation on here! The Marriott forum can be paticularly challening to decifer becuase everything is just a 3 letter resort code!
