And I thought the various Lines owned/managed by Carnival were the worse in the world.

Not necessarily true. Holland America and Cunard are owned by Carnival. And they are pretty good.

I can attest that the difference between HAL and Carnival is like night and day. Such a major difference. I’ve done two HAL cruises, and one on Carnival. I’d be hard pressed to do another Carnival trip. I’d do another HAL cruise anytime.

Incidentally, there are some Suite deals on our upcoming cruise Japan to Hong Kong (I think it has to do with Hong Kong unrest) for similar price as Aqua Class cabins. Wanna go in November?

Love to, but the budget suffers. :) Going back to work after a month off for my knee, I doubt my boss would approve. :)

Those Scandinavian cruises must be jinxed, there was another one where the engines failed and it was drifting to shore off Norway.

We only cruise with Celebrity Cruise Line because we expect their cruises to be "Excellent" in service & food.

We have only cruised Disney (8 cruises :D) - we are cruising the Royal Princess in June (Tour/Alaska). Keeping fingers crossed we are happy/satisfied.

totally agree, Celebrity has the most bang for the buck, Carnival food is plain awful, no tablecloths on tables, my cabin toilet backed up twice on cruise, never again!!!
