Anyone stayed in Wyndham Taos in recent years?

Just back from 5 nights in Ruidoso and 2 in Cimarron, NM, and we’d like to return to northern NM in April. Of course, very little is available now so we have a hold on a studio at the Wyndham Taos. The Trip Advisor reviews look reasonable but we couldn’t find any TUG reviews. Anyone stayed there in recent years? (We know the bed is a queen size Murphy and the kitchen is minimal.) TIA!

Quoting myself - I posted this in Western States Timesharing a few days ago with no response. We decided to confirm the reservation yesterday, but we're still interested in TUGGERs' experiences!

TIA!

We stayed there, October 2018, in a 1BR unit with a Wyndham reservation. Our only complaint was that it was a handicapped room, on the first floor. I do not recall Queen or King, but, it was a normal bed, not a Murphy Bed. The Kitchen was small, no stove. In defense of the low key unit kitchen setup, the common kitchen was nice and large with everything you'd need for putting on a very nice meal. Multiple stoves/ovens. We ate out as we toured the area, so having no stove was not an issue. And, there were several restaurants within easy walking distance. Our unit did not have a laundry but the resort had a bank of washer dryer units, 10 at least. This turned out to be a positive as we were able to do 3 loads of laundry, all at one time. The Taos stop was in the middle of a longer trip, so having the laundry was critical and the 'bank' worked well for us.

We'd stay there again, without hesitation.

The location cannot be beat. It is within walking distance of everything in Old Town Taos. The studios are too minimal for me, but you seem to know what to expect for a studio:

Studio: Queen murphy bed in living area. Unit has small microwave and mini-fridge, no oven or stovetop. Unit may not have patio or balcony. This unit is smaller than average WorldMark studios. Maximum occupancy 2.

I will be staying at WM Taos in a couple of weeks (1 bedroom -- more space than studio but still no full kitchen. New experience for me), if you have anything specific you want answered.

I'm pretty sure the majority of it's inventory is WorldMark. You probably will get a much better response on the WMowners forum.

Thank you for that idea - I'll do that!

Good to know about the common kitchen - DH usually cooks breakfast while I get ready, so that might be possible. Also good to know about the laundry - we'll only be there a week and are driving, so we shouldn't need to wash anything, but sometimes I'm a klutz when eating!

Thanks - a review on Trip Advisor talked about a breakfast restaurant being right across the street, so if you get a chance to check that out, let me know, please! As I said above, DH usually cooks breakfast while I get ready - but we spent the last couple of days of our most recent trip in a B&B, and he remarked that it was nice not having to cook at all, so he might enjoy a full vacation for once!
