Was pleasantly surprised this morning when this OGS request came through! Another Thanksgiving visit to SoCal and have local family come over : )

But, I am wondering if this week is from another owner (it's only Oct 6th today) or a Marriott deposit?

Take a look at the unit code for the exchange under My History in your II account. If it five characters and starts with an H or D, it is a Marriott deposit. If it is only a four letter code, then it is an owner deposit.

It's TOVI, so I guess a multi-week owner deposited his NCV week 13 mo & 3 weeks in advance! Nice.

It's multi-week owners stinging many weeks to get Aruba Ocean Club weeks 51 and 52, depositing other weeks in the string into II.

I guess this goes to show that Marriott won't cancel reservations made under the 13 month rule that aren't for home occupancy. It has in the past been recommended to wait until 12 months to actually do the deposit, but I guess it doesn't matter.

You would have to own at least 5-6 weeks to string them together to get week 51 and 52. Personally I don’t see the appeal of traveling over the holidays. I am either with family or working to each his own. Winger is that a record match for you, time wise? When did you place the request?

I've done so many times without issue. Never waited until 12 months out. I've even had Marriott deposit them part of the time.
