You may have a problem with your browser. I certainly do not subscribe to Digital Trends and I have no problem viewing the article or the other article that you've said the same.

Nothing wrong with my Chrome browser, and I certainly know how to go 'incognito' or turn off Adblock Plus if I really want to read an article that's behind a paywall. I just don't like to have to do that. I was simply being 'on the peck' over Richard's posting whatever it was- a half dozen or so in rapid succession, with just links, and no comments that were ALL behind ad or paywalls.

Hi Jim,
I try not to post articles that are behind a paywall. The group of links that you mentioned were not behind a paywall for me, so I thought they were ok to post. Obviously, I was wrong. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Best Regards.

Richard

I wasn't trying to inflame you or anything. It did not appear behind a paywall on my Safari browser.

you with ads
In this case it wasn't behind a paywall, just one of those that want's to inundate you with ads so they want you to turn of an adblocker, and shame you into doing it (Please support us by allowing ads from our advertisers). There was no flaming intended or felt. Incidentally, I could see the website just fine- with ads- on my tablet using Silk browser.

Still not going to Walmart.

So, how do you go "incognito" or turn off Adblock Plus? I am getting so annoyed at how they pop up over what I am reading (haven't been to the Walmart link) one after another.

Using Chrome, click the 3 dots at upper right. then choose New Incognito Window (or use ctrl+shift+N).You'll have to use passwords to enter your usual sites, because the cookies don't work, but you can usually get past a paywall. To turn off Adblock, click the red ABP stop sign at upper right and choose 'Turn off Adblock on (this site)'. Then you'll get the full advertising blitz.
