What does "Full Kitchen" mean for (RCI) Grand Luxxe NV listing?

I don't use RCI much, and have never used RCI to book Grand Luxxe. I noticed RCI has 2BR's that sleep 6/8 in Nuevo Vallarta, and they have full kitchens. Is that a particular type of 2BR? In contrast, Interval lists 2BR's with LK (partial kitchen) or K (full kitchen), but they only sleep 4/6.

Can someone explain the difference in the units, if any? Or, do RCI and Interval just list occupancy limits differently? Thanks.

Added: After more research, it looks like it could be any type of 2BR. I've only traded into the 3BR Spa and 4BR Residence units, so the 2BR's are a mystery to me.

Is it RB71? If so, it would be a regular 2BR GL suite. The kitchen in those has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove, no oven, though there may be a stand alone toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, and nespresso machine. I may have forgotten some of the stuff; at the GL 1 BR Loft and up you get a washer and dryer, and in the 2 BR Loft and up a wall oven.

No idea how they distinguish between the unit types in II, but it’s fairly well disclosed in the RCI resort name. You have to be platinum with RCI (and not own w/Vidanta - thanks for that) in order to get above the suite level.

Eric, you are always so generous in sharing your wealth of knowledge about the Vidanta system. Thank you! I don't see RB71 anywhere, but I haven't confirmed the trade yet. I'm not Platinum, so I guess it's a "regular" 2BR.

There are some 2BR's for 7,500 RCI points available right now, and I'm wondering if I should try a 2BR with some extra points I have left in an old account. There is the $630 resort fee, but all-in cost would basically be that plus the exchange fee ($239). Not terrible.

That would be the resort id # in RCI. It would be in parentheses under the resort name.

You're quite welcome, of course. Just happy to help out the community because I've learned so much here.

BTW, there are some 2BR GL Villa weeks available if you have RCI platinum also for 7500 for about the same timeframe. Those are on the same footprint as the 3 BR Spa units, but either lower in the spa tower of in different buildings. Resort fees are the same, but it would cost you an extra $89 to upgrade to platinum. IMHO, the extra $89 is worth it for the difference in the accommodations.

Bingo! Looking into it some more, yes, the RCI resort number is RB71! Thanks again, Eric!
