Just so you know I did look at the sticky https://www.tugbbs.com/forums/index.php?posts/2200745

When I click the link for 2019 it takes me to 2018 prices.

And if anyone wants to show me how I can figure out this info instead of answering my question feel free to do so:

Anyway looking to buy timeshare from resale market and eventually sell the one I bought direct this year. In general, what locations as of today have a good mf to point ratio? Like what areas have properties for high number of points but low MF fees? (When I say low, I mean max of $1000). Trying to find out so that way I know what properties to ask for if I talk to resellers. And it doesn't matter to me where in the world the property is as long as I can compare to USD.

Vegas (except Trump) and Scotland are generally considered the best. Always look for Platinum season (even if the $/pt buy-in is more) as the MFs are based on unit size, and "higher" seasons (Platinum) have more points for a given unit size.

Also, suggest that you become a member and support TUG as it allows access to even more of this great stuff.

Cheers.

Thanks for confirming. Also wasn't aware there was a membership other than these forums. I'll have to look for it unless you beat me to sharing that info. Lol.

What are you considering “high points”? I think your goal of less than $1000 in MF is going to be unrealistic. Is budget the reason you want to be under $1000? If so please be aware that MF only go up year after year.

It all depends what you consider high points. If 7000 points is the goal, than $1000 is easily attained. The Boulevard or any of the Scotland lodges (not Craigendarroch Suites) will get there with room to spare. If 8400 points (doable with a 2 bedroom plus) or 9600 points, it becomes much harder and more expensive.

Las Vegas and Kings land Hawaii are generally good buys

In looking at some of the charts for KL, it depends very much on unit size and phase (seems more variation than within other resorts, even within season), so choose carefully if looking at KL.

Cheers.

Here you go
In addition to the resort ratings and reviews, and the option of placing free classified ads, there is a members-only forum for direct exchanges and sightings of hot exchange possibilities from II and RCI. A bargain at $15/year.

Craigendarroch Lodges has some of the best MF per points in the system. The suites, while good, don’t have the same ratio as the lodge (roughly $0.13 per point).

In terms of ranking of MF per points, Coylumbridge has lower ratio than Craigendarroch Lodges which has lower ratio than Craigendarroch Suites?

During summer there was talk about Coylumbridge having a severe underfunding of the reserve fund. BOD talked about raising the MF from £530 in 2019 to £910 in 2020.

I don’t know the conclusion of the talk, maybe someone does?

Please have this in mind before buying into the resort.

Here is the link to the thread: https://www.tugbbs.com/forums/index...oylumbridge-lodges.283059/page-2#post-2305386

I’ll ask for an update in the thread.
