New treatment extends life of advanced melanoma patients

Thank you for the article. My 47 yr. old brother-in-law and very close neighbor (60) passed from melanoma about 5 years or less from when they were diagnosed - I guess theirs was caught early and they were the one in 20 patient bracket.

Any new treatment extending any amount of time to someone's life/quality of life would be welcomed of course.
