It's sad to see that HGVC often has orphaned days that cannot be booked due to the 3 night minimum. Look at the 3 studios available in the screenshot below @ Marbrisa. It's available for 4 out of the 5 nights I need but I can't book them.

Is there any work around?

If you are within Open Season you can book them for cash because that's a 2 night min.

That's a bummer that you have to wait that long. Perhaps reserve a back-up on hilton.com or elsewhere with cancelable reservations in case they are gone by then.

Agree with Calgal, there is a Garden Inn just up the beach from Seapointe you can book about the same price as open season.

That week is not high demand, keep watching something more may open up.

I do have a backup booking at the Del Coronado using Hilton Honors points & free nights. I'm hoping a 1 BR or bigger unit opens up at. We were at the Del Coronado for memorial day weekend and our dining costs were > $100 a day. It would be nice to be in a TS unit with kitchen to save some of that cost.

Yes, eating out can really run up the budget and there are just two of us. Throw in a cocktail or two and you'll really send the bill soaring.

We had a nice dinner at a modest Mexican restaurant here in town the other day where the entrees were around $14 - 15. Two entrees, two drinks, two desserts and the bill was $75 after tip. (Good thing I get 3% back on my Costco credit card.)

So...agreeing that a kitchen is terrific. Also appreciate that our Gold status w Hilton gets us breakfast when in one of their hotels.
