KoOLina Owners,

I am considering buying a 2BR OV in KoOlina. Wondering how easy it is to reserve 2nd half of June to end of July. Do we need to do same as with NCV or is it readily available at 9am.

Also for current owners, any feedback about buying would be apprechiated. Had an exchange with another experienced tugger and he suggested that the new hotel next door might be an issue.

I have owned at Ko Olina pre-construction. I have stayed at various times without problems. I have stayed there several times in late June through Independence Day. If you book 12 months out, you should not have too much problem booking as Ko Olina doesn’t have as many weeks owners as many of the plosives. People thought that when Disney began building Aulani, there was a lot of speculation that there would be horrible lines and overcrowded ness. I have not found that to be the case. Get the lowest price you can and you will have a great time on Oahu!

We own an EOY 2BR OV unit and have not had any problems reserving a unit in June, July or October. We always make our reservation at the 12 month mark.

The resort is beautiful and is one of our favorites. Nobody knows what the impact of the Atlantis and the other resort will be other than there will definitely be more people in the area. One potential advantage is more restaurants, stores, etc are likely to be built in Ko Olina and Kapolei.

We stayed there numerous times and love it. I just wanted to get a feel if there is a booking issue like with NCV.

Mike, is NCV still hard to book for June - Sep.

I have been able to book late June reliably - most recently at 11.5 months before check-in. I think you will be fine - good luck!
