what is preferable a 2brd lock off or a regular 2brd at Grande Vista for a stay. I saw that the regular two bedroom are located only within certain buildings closer to the main road.

I believe the dedicated two bedroom Villas were constructed at the final phase of construction, so in essence they are the newest Villas in the complex.

Maybe another owner can chime in to confirm.

It depends on your needs. I like the lockoff for the extra balcony. But I *think* (maybe someone can confirm) that the dedicated 2BR's 2nd bedroom has 2 beds in it (vs. 1 with a sleeper sofa).

Those buislings that are closer to the road, are not close by any means. So if you want a dedicated 2BR unit, you would need to request it. Those buildings are further away from the main clubhouse, but they do have a pool, restaurant and bar right there at Copa Loca. Noise from the road won't be an issue. In the second bedroom the dedicated 2BR units do have two queen beds vs a king and sleeper sofa in the lock off units. The lock offs do have two balconies but also two entry doors which may not always be ideal for families with small children.

Thank you for the replies. I originally thought that the lockoff would be better, but it seems to be a waste of space to have another kitchen and sofa and table. Also having the two doors concerned me.

Let’s see how it goes...

Thanks for posing the question. Also staying there and will probably use a lockout in one and a standard 2 in another since we have two lockouts booked. The double queen beds are nice

If you do, the units may not be close together. At least not in the same building.

There isn't a second kitchen in the studio lock off. It has a small kitchenette. Just a micro, small fridge and sink with a couple small appliances.

That’s a good point thank you for pointing that out.
