Had to Call to Change Reservation at Affiliate

I wanted to change a booking at Eagles Nest (SW Florida) for time available at Sanibel.
But I found that I couldn't do this online.

I was inside the penalty-window and reducing points, so I knew to first move it MT 30 days out, and then back. For the 1st change, the system wouldn't show availability at any resort, anywhere (as if non-changeable). So I called and they changed it to SeaWorld in November.

For change #2, the system only showed availability at SeaWorld and nowhere else. So I called again and finally got the booking I wanted.

My theories why I couldn't do this online:
1. Changes for SW Florida affiliates still have to be walked-thru.
2. Inside the penalty-window, they wanted personal contact.
3. The online change-process is messed up and needs professional help.

The Florida affiliates could be on a totally different software system than the mainline HGV resorts.

I moved out an appointment at a FL affiliate to another resort about 3 days ago. I had one at an HGVC developer resort that needed professional help, though.

BTW, I did try clearing out my cache, cookies and browsing history.
That didn't help. So, luck of the draw it seems.

I’m going to try walking a FL affiliate starting tomorrow, will see what I get.

I noticed they just rolled out several changes to the web site.

I have always had to call to walk an affiliate SW Florida Resort or change an affiliate SW Florida Resort reservation to a different week or resort.
