We arrived in Aruba last month for a 2 week stay with a Budget rental car reservation in our hand. It was not “pre-paid” and they said they had no cars. They did have cars for people with pre-paid reservations. This was a first for us. We usually have two reservations at competing companies when we arrive somewhere, but not this time. We popped into Hertz, Avis and other offices and they had no cars. We were passed off to Jay’s Car Rental which was off site. They honored our price with Budget and we were on our way. Their cars were not non-smoking and not very clean, but at least we had a car. And, they were not open for our early departure flight - we were instructed to leave the car in the Airport parking lot with the keys and $10 under the mat. And, we were not happy with Budget. Happy Travels! :)

We always use Top Drive in Aruba. They are terrific!
We always use Tropic Car Rental - the best on Aruba - no prepayment but you have to reserve well ahead of arrival.
