BlueGreen/Shell Partnership

We own Shell Vacations Club and have made some use of the BlueGreen partnership. SVC has threatened that this is going away. What (if anything) do you hear from the BlueGreen side?

I have not heard anything and don't really know much about the partnership. I will make some inquires.

I'm curious, was it the sales people who expressed this threat?

For Bg members to take advantage of any Shell resorts we must have Traveler's Plus which is only available to "charter" members and since I own only resale I can't get it.

Direct Exchange>Select Connections>Prizzma is our way to get Shell resorts.

I believe the relationship pre-dates the shell acquisition by Wyndham. I doubt Wyndham sees the value of continuing the relationship. There have been crickets in terms of any indication that the relationship will continue.

Yes. I’d say Wyndham would prefer that the Shell footprint is expanded via use of Wyndham properties rather than BlueGreen.

I guess we will see what happens. No doubt depends on the end date of the agreement.
