RedWeek came out with their list of 10 most-booked timeshares in summer, and 9 of the 10 are Marriotts (one Westin): 10 Most Booked Resorts in Summer
I've been to 4 of them in summer: Newport Coast Villas (does early June count?), Aruba Surf Club, Maui Ocean Club, and Ko Olina Beach Club. Anyone been to all 10?
Been to 5 and own at 3.
I'm sure many TUG members have been to all of them.
We'll never do it because we much prefer the Caribbean over Hawaii,
altho we've been to two Hawaii Marriotts, Kaua'i Beach Club and Ocean Club.
We can get to Europe faster than Hawaii, and we prefer that too....
been to Europe 4 times.

Grande Vista is really nice. Lots to do at the resort itself including golf. Also, tennis, paddle boats, etc. Figure out what part of the resort you want to stay in and request buildings there. It is really a big foot print.
This report is based on top rentals from Redweek. It doesn't include ownership usage or exchanges. Article should be titled, "Top Timeshares Rented for Summer via Redweek." Still valuable info because it shows where owners are successfully renting their units.
Been to 7, own 5. Redweek should be called Redweek Marriott Rentals" because i'm sure it's business is 75% Marriott rentals. Just look at the list. The next 10 best rental units would likely be half Marriotts. I know 98% of my Marriott rentals go through Redweek.
I hope those of you who replied your count are only including summer stays. That's what I wanted to know. I've been to some of those in the spring and/or fall but I was counting only my summer stays.
Disney Vacation Club (Aulani,SSR,VGC,VGF) Hilton Grand Vacation Club(Bay Club, Kohala Suites, The District) Marriott Vacation Club (Aruba Surf Club, Grand Residence, Grand Chateau, Grand Vista,Harbour Lake, KoOlina,Willow Ridge & DC points)
Been to 5, own at none. Have traded into those 5 resorts during the summer. The Maui ones are harder to trade into during the whale watching season than summer.
If you are going before the holidays - check out pricing via II Getaways. Usually very easy to get Orlando Marriotts in early December. Probably less than $500 for 2BR units.
