Used it for 5 nights at the Paris Arc De Triomphe Ren. AC didn't work so we got it reversed, but we still got a top floor room with a balcony view of the ADT and sliver of the ET.

I have been eyeing St. Regis properties for my SNA. Most SR's have actual suites worth upgrading to - not just view upgrades.

I stayed at the St. Regis in Florence, Italy for 10 nights on a point redemption in Sept. right after the merger. I did NOT use SNA's but was upgraded anyway to a fantastic room overlooking the Arno, and was given Butler service! I haven't been the same since! An experience I will NEVER forget! SO happy with the merger, and St. Regis being under the Marriott umbrella. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be staying in a St Regis property, let alone being upgraded to Butler service! I am lifetime Titanium. :)The breakfast buffet was fabulous!

We got a 2BR upgrade a week ago at the TownePlace Suites in Winchester, VA, which I noticed on the app while checking in from the road. I called and told them they were just a pit stop, we wouldn't get in until 9PM and would be out at 7AM, and would prefer a studio on the first floor because our dawg was with us. I said they should upgrade someone who could make better use of it so hopefully that's what they did.

(Not sure if this was a status upgrade or if they used a SNA - if they did they've since put it back in the account.)

We had a great upgrade on our recent epic road trip from CT up through Maine (Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park were great), New Brunswick (Hopewell Rocks were worth seeing), Nova Scotia (Cabot Trail was awesome!!), Prince Edward Island (which was beautiful), and back. We used 5 night certificates in Halifax (Marriott Harbourfront) and also at the Delta in Charlottetown, Price Edward Island (both very nice places).

I used 5 suite night upgrades at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront. We were in a pretty normal sized king room with a side water view, that had a lockout type door to a huge suite room (corner unit with full facing water view) including a fireplace, large L shaped couch in TV viewing area, huge kitchen table with 8 chairs, but could have easily seated twice that, a wet bar/mini kitchen area, a huge walk in closet, and a full 2nd bathroom that was huge, with double vanity, etc. The suite living area was close to double the size of the living/dining/kitchen area of a MVC villa. It was huge. Was nice to have the extra room in the middle of our 2 week road trip, and to think it was all "free" using a 5 night certificate and suite night upgrades.

Put on approx. 3200 miles in my car. Even talked my wife into traveling in the sports car vs her much more roomy SUV which added to my fun, perhaps not so much hers... ;-). Highly recommend the road trip for those in the north east.
