I am not new to timesharing and thought I understood the Max Occupancy/Privacy designation, but I am wondering now. We have a one bedroom with 4/4. Does that mean there are two bathrooms? I am assuming 2 would be on a sleeper sofa of some sort in the living room and 2 in the bedroom.

Any experts with this designation? I am hoping for a one bedroom two bath, but RCI does not have any info on the number of baths in their documentation. Thank you.

That normally means four private (sleeping arrangements) and four max. in the unit. What resort?

Usually privacy refers to access to the bathroom without having to go through a bedroom to get there. With 4/4 you often have a bathroom that is either not attached to the bedroom but in a hall with private access from both the living room and the dining room or a bathroom that has 2 doors one directly into the bedroom and another that can access the bathroom without entering the bedroom. Occasionally you might get lucky with 2 bathrooms but usually that isn't the case.

Thanks for that description. I knew it had to do with the bathroom somehow.
