Can I post a rental to find a renter and use my Redweek listing to process the transaction?

I have my week listed for rent on Redweek but it isn't getting any activity. Can I list it on TUG as well, and ask a prospective renter to use Redweek for processing the contract, payment, etc?

In the TUG Market Place, yes, but if it adds fees it will be a deterrent

You can list it wherever you want, but as Denise says added fees could be a deterrent.

With that said, consider TUG as well as Craigslist and eBay.

Best of luck with your rental.

Thank you everyone. I have posted my listing and think I will use Redweek for processing since I've paid for that service. If the renter doesn't have a redweek account I will pay for that as well. Now I just need to find a renter :)

I don't think renter needs to have a redweek account to rent your week.

You have your week listed on Redweek for $X. You can pretend to rent the week yourself on Redweek and see what the fees would be to the renter. If you find someone using some other service that wants to rent for that amount, just point them to your Redweek listing and have them initiate the process there.

Point being that if you are doing something like Redweek full service rental listing, I don't think you can do your own outside rental agreement (bypassing the Redweek fees imposed on the renter) and just use Redweek to process the money.

Have a contract drafted, you both sign, have them pay via Venmo. It’s quicker and no fees compared to PayPal. Money goes into your checking within a day. I’m liking tug marketplace better than redweek
