Hi,
I’d like to trade into a resort in the Palm Springs area, California. I have 44 TPU’s with RCI.
Ideally I would like to stay around late March - late April.
I’m looking for a TS/resort that has a good pool.
Is 44 TPU’s enough to get a two bedroom in the Palm Springs Area that time of year?

We’re mostly interested in hanging out at the resort pool, visiting the nearby springs, hitting the thrift shops, checking out the Salton Sea, touring the date farm, taking hikes, exploring the art museums and botanical gardens, etc. We don’t play tennis or dress up in formal wear for dinner.

Thanks for any advice offered!

I am unaware of any nearby "springs" other than at Thousand Palms - - where some water oozes out of a San Andreas fault. And they are not for bathing. Perhaps 1-2 feet deep. Salton Sea? disappointing. Date farm ? Fun. Art museums? fun. Botanical gardens? nice.

Here is a link to a list of some of the springs in the Palm Springs Area:

One spring that I have visited years ago is called the Thousand Palm Oasis Preserve. It truly is an oasis. There are easy hikes and there are elevated boardwalks that surround the spring:

I think 44 TPU should be enough, although it might be close.

There is only one unit in the palm springs are for March right now, a two bedroom at Indian Palms for 35 TPU. I'm not sure it meets your requirement for a "good pool" but it should give an idea for pricing.

BTW, There are some big events that occur during the OP's date range:
1. BNP Tennis March 9-22
2. Coachella Jazz festival April 10-12 and 17-19
3. Coachella Stagecoach country - I'm not sure of the dates, but it is usually the 2 weekends after the Jazz festival.
