Do I need to send back a copy of contract with my rescission letter?

Sorry, that isn't necessary. I forgot the not in my previous post. I am going back to corrected.

As mentioned in a different thread I rescinded, giving no reason, within the state's timeframe and had no issue. I did reference the contract number but did not give a reason. The New York contract is very specific and state law does not require a reason. I am not sure what Gold VIP is except a differentiation from Hilton Honor Gold (as a sales benefit for HGVC) \. You can get Gold status with the Am Ex Ascend Card for $95 plus a total of 10 airport lounge visits a year included in the card. With the HH bonus points available, if you spend a certain amount, I though this was an easy way to get gold status and I have received upgrades already with my Gold status as well as using a lounge in Dublin. Seemed easy to get.

Pretty sure that "Gold VIP" is weaselspeak for "Gold" (unless someone knows of some published additional benefit level within HHonors).

Cheers.

I am given the explanation that VIP Means that you are an owner in the Gold status and get some priority. I have not seen it documented anywhere though.

The VIP moniker is an older term. Hilton used to call their HHonors membership categories Blue, Silver VIP, Gold VIP, Diamond VIP... a while back they changed to over Gold Elite, Diamond Elite, etc. though obviously most people just refer to these as Gold, Diamond...
