What was also amazing was that he could keep playing through all his moving around. I wonder if he would have discovered this talent if he had not become ill.

Well, Color me skeptical. This was another 'sob story. I felt the same as most viewers, and the panel, that the young man had found a way to deal personally with the bullying he had experienced. We felt sympathy, and thankfulness for his feeling pride in his accomplishment. As we watched his performance, my wife (a symphony French horn player) looked at me and said, "He's only played 4 notes so far". Watching him closely, with all his dancing and rhythmic moves, I'm not sure the audio wasn't dubbed. The instrumental version of 'lip syncing'. What we didn't see was violin playing consistent with being a 'prodigy'. Good entertainment, heartwarming story, but (imo) not worthy of winning America's Got Talent.

All Sizzle. Precious little Steak.

Ditto. Nice story/kid, but not worthy of a golden buzzer.

100% agree. Same for the agoraphobic “comedian” and the gentlemen from Brazil.

I finally got around to watching this episode last night. I thought the kid put on a nice performance, but agree that with the background track it was hard to tell how much of the music was live vs. recorded. To be honest, i am not even sure what the rules allow or don't allow for pre-recording.

I liked the old guys from Brazil, but don't see them or this kid winning the contest.

Many times on AGT, i see act that i enjoy for a few minutes, but there is no way i would pay to see them headline a show in Vegas.
