New user here....I'm looking at purchasing an EOY resale. I know you can roll over points for a fee and borrow points for free. I just want to verify I can borrow points on an EOY contract? Any problems with doing so? Thanks in advance!!!

No. If for example you buy an every even year contract, that means that you can save your 2020 points into 2021 (for a fee) and in year 2021, you will be able to borrow from you 2022 points (for free). You won't be able to borrow points during your even years.

I also assume that you know that you will pay club dues every year.

Great, that's for the clarification. I didn't know about the inability on the even years, thank you! Yes, I knew about the annual club dues.

Yes, you can only borrow from next years points. For EOY deeds, this means that you can only borrow on the off years since that is when you will have next year points.

I have an EOY that I use as an Every year.
I only use it for SW Florida vacations but did use it
for Hawaii once which worked out well by pooling
both years in the middle.

I don't need an every year so I've enjoyed it but
now the club fee is up to $200 a year so it's getting
expensive.
Still getting value out of it, but not as good as
in the past.

I wouldn't buy a small EOY though.
I own 5,000 pts. I think that should be the
minimum you should consider, but of course
will depend on where you want to go. The
affiliates are cheaper points wise than the newer
places so it works for me.

Good luck on your decision.
Hilton is a nice club if not for the endless fees for
this and that. Sigh.
