II-larger unit authorization do you still get called?

Today I was on the phone with an II representative and was told even though I authorized payment online if a larger unit was available, that I would be called to confirm.

I thought the whole point of authorizing it online was to avoid the call. Any one have experience with this? Was I given correct or incorect information?

After the feature was put in to put in CC info for size upgrade, I have yet to be matched through OGS when asking for a larger size room. I tend to ignore II calls and I think you have identified to problem. I have an OGS for next April and usually I would have gotten a match 12 to 13 months out but nada, I have yet to get a match.

Yes, they called to confirm my two requests for 2br units, upsized from 1br and from Studio.

Originally, the screen was set up so that we entered the credit card info when we authorized. Now, it does not. We just check the box to say that we are aware there is a fee to upsize.

You must answer II calls if you plan to upsize prior to flexchange.

I got no call, had an OGS into Marco Island (Crystal Shores) for 1Br DSV2, got it today, no call. Marco only has 2BR. Charged $59 upgrade of course. First OGS for me in a while. Very Happy since I am flying back from Thailand that I was not needed. Already have conf certificate.
