#3 . Where is it ever okay for people to eat directly off the same plate? That should be considered wrong in any country.

5. For noodles like soba and ramen you can’t eat them silently!

Perhaps one of my husbands favorite Japanese traditions. He says he’s being polite. I remind him we haven’t lived in Japan since 1994.
