Yeah. Desert in July would not be pleasant.

I appreciate the reply, but yes, we're looking for something more coastal. I know that's a tougher request, but please let us know if you find something!

There are rental weeks available in Redweek for 2 bedroom units in July for the following resorts, depending on how much you want to pay:

Marriott's Newport Coast

Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort

Hyatt Residence Club Carmel, Highlands Inn

Four Seasons Residence Club, Carlsbad

Grand Palisades, Carlsbad

There actually seems to be a lot of availability. You might want to take a look. These are just the first few I found.
