Vistana:
Westin Kierland (x2)
WKORV - OV (x2)
Desert Oasis (x6)
Vistana Villages - Bella
Vistana Villages - Key West
Sheraton Broadway Plantation (2BR Lockout)
Marriott:
Marriott Grande Ocean
When staying at WKORVN we were invited to an owner update and were offered 30K Marriott points attend. I included the options for the purchase of WKORV (1 Bedroom-Premium OV) but recently found the documentation detailing the Nanea offer. The details are as follows:
3 Bedroom Ocean Front (Including Re-Qualifying 4 Weeks and 5 Star Elite Status)
257,700 Star Options
$134,004 (Retail Price)
-$20,101 (Discount)
$113,903 (Final Price)
3 Bedroom Resort View (Including Re-Qualifying 3 Weeks and 5 Star Elite Status)
205,000 Star Options
$87,125 (Retail Price)
-$13,005 (Discount)
$74,120 (Final Price)
When we informed them that we were not interested in Nanea since it was voluntary but would be interested in a 1 or 2 Bedroom OV at WKORV or WKORVN they offered us the following:
2 Bedroom Ocean Front (Including Re-Qualifying 1 Week and 4 Star Elite Status)
176,700 Star Options
$82,900 (Final Price)
In the end we declined the offer and found a 1-Bedroom Premium OV for $7900 (Syed has been great). We just received word Marriott has declined the purchase (We will update the ROFR database). I originally thought that we would be able to reserve Maui all the time with our Staroptions at the 8 Month mark. But with the rumors of a consolidated and/or reciprocal program with Marriott Vacation Club I don't want to take the chance that we will not be able to reserve when we want to.
