RIP Bill Buckner a Baseball Legend. The curse is now over.
Does anyone in Boston remember the wild pitch or you can called it a passed ball that tie the scored for the NY Mets?

My husband was so upset when Bill Buckner made the error, he didn’t watch baseball for ten years, especially not the Red Sox. All is forgiven now he is not as avid a fan as before.
Routing for the Bruins to win The Stanley Cup!
RIP Bill

Perhaps Bill can now finally RIP. As to rooting for the Bruins, I just can't bring myself to do that, even though my friend and schoolmate, Brad Park, played for them in the 70s and 80s. I would rather be yelling "Go Leafs Go" in the Stanley Cup playoffs, but the Bruins put an end to that for another year! :(:( It was a good series, but the Bruins prevailed, so I wish you and your team good luck.:hi:

The last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup Brad and I were in Grade 12!! :bawl::bawl: That was 52 years ago. But as a life-long Leafs fan, there is always next year!! :wall:

So this year Drake and I will be rooting for the Raptors and We the North as they enter new territory.:banana::banana:

We'll see Pedro! I think the series will go at least six games, probably seven. It should be a good match-up in any case.

Warriors obviously have the experience in the finals and are the defending champions, but Toronto has home court advantage (?!?) and Durant is looking iffy for at least Game 1. Toronto won both games during regular season play this year, although Warriors have more wins overall when playing each other over the years. Having said that, regular season play has little to do with playoff results. The team that can stay healthiest and stick to their game plan will likely have the advantage.

Exciting times for all of us Raptors fans here in Canada. The first time a non-US-based team has played in the NBA finals. Go Raptors!!

Bill Buckner was on the radio in New York for quite a few years, too. He was a disk jockey on QAXR, the oldies station Q104.3. I remember listening to him and then finding out he was THAT Bill Buckner!
