Upgrade & Rescind

Has anyone ever upgraded their ownership & then changed their mind? Are you able to rescind? If you rescind, do you give up your entire membership & become free of the TS? We own HGVC & have invested quite a bit, but I’m tired of maintenance fees & not using the program.

If I understand the question, rescission of the upgrade will have no effect on the rest of your ownership. Why would you think otherwise?

There are scores of strings here on TUG about things you might do since you are "tired of maintenance fees & not using the program."

What do you own? Most HGVC you can sell it or give away.

I'll echo Jim Chapman's answer but I'll ask you this. Did you already sign and pay for an upgrade or are you looking for a sneaky way to get out of your current TS by upgrading at a sales presentation then rescinding in hopes of doing this will get you out of your original contract.

As was answered many times before in other threads, if you upgrade your package at a sales presentation but then rescind within the legally allotted time frame, you go back to what you originally owned. It does not cancel your original ownership.
