Need advice on renting our WKORV-N

We have a annual 2 bedroom in WKORV-N and considering renting the whole unit for our week. Do most people do it themselves? What service do you use if you have someone else do it? What is a good price to list an island view unit? Any horror stories or pretty easy? Thanks in advance.

I think most people use Redweek and/or the Marketplace here. I would suggest you look there to see what the going price is as it varies greatly based on dates.

We have the same property and use Redweek. Don't assume you will sell it easily. We have been most successful when renting out the full 2BR and in the late June-Aug period. Their Verified and Protected service seems to attract buyers and is much less hassle than trying to arrange everything yourself. Prices do vary and I wouldn't set your sights on making a huge profit over your maintenance fees. Times we have failed to sell on there, Studio for Presidents Day week and 1BR for Thanksgiving week despite posting at attractive prices compared to others.

Only 'horror' story I have is this year there was one renter on there who had the identical unit, identical week and insisted on pricing $1 below our price, whatever we changed ours to. In the end we sold ours and she didn't sell hers so maybe karma? Hope that wasn't you or any other 'tugger'?
