Thinking about a request there for July, but lack of air conditioning is a problem I think. True?

Not true. I've been to Breck in July and it's very comfortable in the summer months. In fact, you better pack some light sweaters and a lightweight jacket for nights.

72/41 are the average temperatures for Breck in July.

I've been there in early August and like Old Hickory stated, it's very comfortable. The temps were in the low to mid 70s and the nights were around 50.

It should be fine. Most places do not have air. Even if it gets to 80 during the day, the air is dry so it is not oppressive. When it cools down at night, open windows will work if needed.
You will have a great time!

We were there over July 4th a few years ago. It was great! Warm days, cool evenings. Perfect weather. Better than what they were having in Maine that summer, tbh.
